The Pro Bowl is in Miami this year and during the Super Bowl bye week no less! Let the good times roll. Here is a look at the rosters. Nothing really earth shattering. Favre. Brady. Manning, etc. The newbies include the electrifying Chris Johnson, Miles Austin, and DeSean Jackson, who made it as a receiver [...]

Brady. Manning. No further explanation needed. Let’s get it.

Bare with me through our latest voyage. Thanks to the Phils’ World Series loss, I’m in a bit of an ornery mood these days. My email box and Facebook account has been swamped with arrogant and cocksure emails from Yankee fans celebrating title 27. Most of which I can’t even put in print.
On Thursday, I [...]

As we stand days away from a potential Phillies-Yankees World Series and the biggest sports fan battle to hit the east coast in decades, it is time to issue a test.
I’m declaring open season on all fraudulent fans; and as they say on the streets, let’s not get it twisted. I love my Phillie fan [...]

Bill Simmons made an interesting point on his Twitter last night. Sports fans operate in a universe these days where the two most clutch players are Alex Rodriguez and Peyton Manning. Does anyone find that bizarre? Seriously, these guys embodied postseason futility.
Manning, a notorious postseason slacker, won Super Bowl XLI and beat Tom Brady and [...]
