The JMRA Hall of Fame – Inductee #5

The 2009 NFL season represents an odd journey for Bill Belichick. From the controversy of 4th and 2 to Randy Moss “dogging it”, he’s had a few hurdles to clear. However, none of that stops him from becoming the fifth inductee to the JMRA Hall of Fame.

The NFL Playoffs: Making Your Head Explode

Instead of me typing out every single conceivable way someone can make the playoffs, just go here. If that doesn’t do the trick for you, I’ll break it down for you in simple terms.

Video of the Day: The Glorious Randy Moss

Here is a break from Favre vs. Chilly and Perfect-gate in Indy. Last Sunday, a Randy Moss impersonator was spotted in the crowd during the Pats/Jags wipeout. Watch as Moss spots him and thus, hi-jinx ensues.

The Road to Perfectville

For the first time in NFL history, two teams are at 13-0 as we head towards the closing stages of the 2009 NFL season. Panthers D Calls Out Moss; Claim He “Shut It Down”

According to research done on advancedNFLstats.com, the man was right. Under the circumstances, going for it, while jarring to see, is an understandable proposition. If his own team can’t get over what he did, than the Patriots have far greater problems than Belichick going for it on 4th and 2.

Defending William Stephen Belichick

As per usual, the football talking heads are missing the boat on this call. The problem isn’t the call itself for my money. It’s the events leading up to the call that make it look awful.

Week 10’s Face of Defeat

Well, you know.

Video of the Day: Deja Vu

The talk of the football world is the 4th and 2 Belichick call to go for it, which as a result ultimately did in the Patriots. For the unaware, there is a historical comparison to what Belichick did last night. Back in 1995, the Cowboys faced a similar situation against the Eagles on the road. [...]
