After the controversial trade of former Denver quarterback Jay Cutler, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen took matters into his own hands by issuing a letter to season ticket holders. The Jay Cutler era in Denver is kaput. Chicago delivered quarterback Kyle Orton, two first round picks (‘09 & ‘10) and a 2009 third round pick to the Broncos in exchange for Cutler and a fifth round pick in April’s draft.

At the end of the ‘08 season, I’m not sure many pictured Jay Cutler playing in another uniform besides the blue and orange of the Broncos. Nonetheless, it appears that’s where we are headed. Jay Cutler’s dispute with the Broncos has been taken to another level. According to a report from a Denver television station, Cutler put his house up for sale. He still lives in an area condo but it seems his message is clear. He wants out of Denver, pronto.
