It’s the 100th meeting between the Eagles and Cowboys and you know what that means…the end of days in Philadelphia. Fresh off of seeing the Phillies drop the World Series, Philadelphia fans are sure to be frisky. After all, they’ve had all day to tailgate before an Eagles/Cowboys game scheduled for 8:30. Well played NFL, [...]

Following Week 2, I turned on the NFL Network to see numerous analysts including Brian Billick, lauding the impressive state of quarterbacking around the league. After two weeks, the composite quarterback rating proved to 83.9, which at the time was an all-time best for the position.
With so many awful teams around the league, I contend [...]

Ten years ago, I was a naïve 20 year old college student on the road to…well, at the time I had little idea. However, during this year I got a first hand introduction to two of the most destructive forces in football…Peyton Manning and the Mount Union College Purple Raiders.
The latter is obviously the lesser known [...]

Earlier this week, I discovered one of my friends, who is a big Carolina Panthers fan, made her way down to Charlotte, North Carolina to watch Eagles/Panthers. Prior to Sunday, the last Panther game she attended? That’s right, the 2008 NFC Divisional playoff game versus Arizona.

It’s time for fantasy drafts throughout the land. Follow these tips and maybe just maybe, you’ll be on the way to glory.
1. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail: Former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden is a bona fide genius and heeding his advice is a wise manoeuvre. Prepare yourself for battle. Mock drafts are [...]

Instead, at points of the game, the Eagles could probably put Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Jeremy Maclin (or Kevin Curtis), DeSean Jackson and Vick on the field in a variety of formations. This is going to create a massive problem for opponents potentially.
However, this isn’t the NBA and they aren’t the ’87 Lakers, where everyone could conceivably touch the ball during a possession. As Miami will find out, it will have high and lows. Ultimately though, the wildcat will not determine whether the Eagles can finally get over the hump.

The Colts released Marvin Harrison on Tuesday. However, if you’ve read this blog at all, you knew this would happen.
It will be interesting to see if he lands anywhere once free agency begins on February 27. The Marvelous One isn’t exactly a marvelous teammate since he typically sits stoically on the sideline.

According to Yahoo sports, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb plans on asking the team for more money on top of the two years remaining on his contract. As Yahoo puts it, a “financial apology” of sorts may be what he is looking for after being benched by Andy Reid in November but then leading the Birds [...]
