The JMRA Hall of Fame – Inductee #4

Before there was Michael Vick and Daunte Culpepper, Randall Cunningham was an athlete well ahead of his time. Cunningham could do it all. He could throw it short, medium, or long and then of course, he could run.

Cheerio!

Dick Jauron bit the big one in Buffalo on Tuesday. Somehow, he avoided becoming one of my Faces of Defeat, which is a big mystery to me because Jauron was as steady as they come in that department.
Anyhow, one of my closest friends is a die hard Bills fan and after sending him a congratulatory [...]

Video of the Day: Bud

Bud Adams, you sir are embarrassing.

Two Minute Warning: From Foxborough, With Love

Earlier this week, I discovered one of my friends, who is a big Carolina Panthers fan, made her way down to Charlotte, North Carolina to watch Eagles/Panthers. Prior to Sunday, the last Panther game she attended? That’s right, the 2008 NFC Divisional playoff game versus Arizona.

Video of the Day: Good Morning Buffalo

Well, Bills fans…at least it wasn’t a Super Bowl.

Pats/Bills MNF Blog: The Return – Quarter 4

9:28: Brady leads a FG drive. 17-13 Bills. Ehhhh, I don’t know about this one. Brady just isn’t playing with the usual verve.
9:35: T.O. pass interference…we’re at the end folks. Father time is in Buffalo.
9:45: Woah. Jackson TD drive greatly aided by a roughing the passer call against the Pats. Another horrible call. When exactly [...]

Pats/Bills MNF Blog: The Return – Quarter 3

8:50: The quarter starts with one of the worst calls of the season. Vince Wilfork tackles Trent Edwards waist high in the endzone and is flagged for the “Brady Rule”, hitting the QB low. Just a brutal call.
9:01: Brady and friends beginning to heat up. He’s starting to step into throws now and is delivering [...]

Pats/Bills MNF Blog: The Return – Quarter 2

7:54: On a 3rd and 5 from the Buffalo 44, Owens drops a first down. This whole T.O./Buffalo thing feels more like O.J. to the 49ers or Unitas to the Chargers than Montana to the Chiefs or Dickerson to the Colts. He may just not have anything in the tank.
8:09:  A bizarre game thus far. [...]

Pats/Bills MNF Blog: The Return – Quarter 1

7:26pm – So Brady and the Pats offense have looked eh, somewhat mortal in a drive and a half. While the Bills look like the Bills. Most surprising thing thus far? Mr. Maroney looks like he is ready to play.
7:29pm – A curious 3rd and 4 run by the Pats with Faulk. Patriots offense line [...]

Two Minute Warning: Dear Summer, Go Away

I live in New Jersey and frequent the Jersey Shore with the consistency of Jake Delhomme’s quarterbacking. While I enjoy many of the perks of the summer, lighter workload, good scenery, vacation, etc., this is THE time of the year.
I’m already over the summer being over. In fact, my timeline every year [...]
